Benefits as a Learner 

The Skills Academy site is designed as a learning management tool by fulfilling the needs and bringing together three distinct groups, you as a learner, your employer enabling them to support your learning, and providers to showcase high quality approved skills products to you and your employer, utilising our acclaimed Learning Engine approach.

Once registered you are able to research a range of training programmes, best practice training tools as well as manage your own training planner and portfolio of evidence. Within your own space you will have control over your own personal development planner, we support you in the use of your planner with our 5-stage Learning Engine, which forms the backbone of our best practice learning model. A series of support tools are also available to support you in this process, helping you gain the best training outcome for you and your employer.

You are be able to research courses as well as best practice training methods and have access to a news and events area, that will be regularly updated by The Skills Academy keeping you abreast of developments in the manufacturing sector and the skills arena.

Once registered as a learner you can request an upgrade to employer and/or provider status at any time.
